Culture, race, and ethnicity drastically influence one's education both directly and subtly (Peteya 1). People are not only treated differently in schools based upon their culture, race, ethnicity, and wealth, but they also receive varying opportunities depending on these factors (Rothstein). There are many variables impacting one's education, and it is quite possible to override the effect of one's social class in education, but there are educational advantages and disadvantages for each social class, both direct and subtle (Warren).
